Each slicer program is different. The following instructions are using Bambu Labs Studio.
Adding text to your STL is a great way to remember what the shape is or even the size that you printed. Often we forget what the shape is after collecting over a hundred cutters.
Tips on organizing: >Blog Post<
STL File used in example:
Step 1. Upload your STL file to Bambu Studio
Step 2. Click the "Ta" button in the top toolbar
Step 3. Input: Size, Thickness, Embed Depth and Text (optional: change the font style) feel free to use our input values as a guide. You can make your text size smaller or larger depending on your preference. We find these value print perfectly on the Bambu A1
Step 4. Press "Enter" on your keyboard and drag your curser to your cookie cutter for where you want to display the text. You can change the position by clicking the middle node. Once in the spot you like click anywhere away from the cookie cutter to lock it in.
